Project Overview

Set on a small block with very tight access, this beautiful existing cottage—built in 1912 during the Federation era—underwent a complex and stunning transformation. The project required the demolition and rebuilding of half the house, alongside careful excavation at the rear, all meticulously managed through the front of the property. The new layout features tiered living to naturally follow the shape of the block. A standout feature of the home is a custom-built seat situated on the outside of the bifold kitchen window, cleverly allowing the clients to dine inside and outside at the same time.
